Pair of vintage crystal candlesticks signed Saint Louis. One of the candlesticks has a chip at the bobeche, which does not affect its functionality. The other is in perfect condition. Founded in 1586 in the Münzthal valley in Moselle, the Saint-Louis Crystal Works is the oldest crystal manufacturer in France. It is now part of the Hermès group. Every day, the crystal pieces are mouth-blown, cut, and hand-decorated by the artisans of the crystal works. Since the beginning of the 20th century, Saint-Louis has collaborated with many artists and designers, thus enriching its collections with contemporary creations.
