Big poster from the Netherlands / Benelux

Geographically, the benelux region is characterised by vast plains and numerous canals, rivers and lakes. It is also rich in forests and pastures. In the 1950s, the region was mainly an agricultural and industrial area, with an economy based on agriculture, heavy industry and trade. The poster in question is an advertising poster that presents a decorative and colourful map of the netherlands, belgium and luxembourg. It is surrounded by charming images that show the most interesting attractions of each city in these three countries. The poster was designed by the libra design studio in 1950 and printed in the netherlands by the kuhn en zoon printing house in rotterdam. It was probably a tourism publication intended to promote these three countries to an international audience. Some tears especially at the bottom of the poster but remains in very good condition.
