Old ceramic plate badonviller – black & yellow pattern

Large vintage flat plate in white ceramic whose perimeter is dressed with yellow and black rays. Below is stamped: fb 96. The manufacture of earthenware in badonviller began in 1828 when nicolas fenal inherited a faience factory in meurthe-et-moselle. He took over the business and on his death in 1857, his children and nephews succeeded him, including one, théophile fenal who created his own factory in badonviller. The badonviller factory is an important manufacturer of fine earthenware of the nineteenth century. It is one of the many factories in eastern france taking advantage of the wood resource of the lorraine forests for heating ovens. Perfect for a complete a service and sunny a beautiful table of its typical design of the 50s / 60s. D 29.2 cm.
