Dining table by André Sornay, France circa 1965

André sornay, cabinetmaker and designer from lyon, is at the origin of many innovations, including the assembly system called "à tigettes", which he patented in the 50s, used for this table. This dining table is composed of square-shaped solid pine side legs encasing an ivory-colored melamine top with black-painted edges. Combined with the chairs by the same designer, it forms a warm ensemble. Edition: meubles sornay, circa 1965. Ref 6714.
