Magnificent Vietnamese decorative panel in black lacquer, enhanced with iridescent mother-of-pearl inlays, dating from the mid-20th century. The composition, delicate and balanced, features stylised vegetation with depictions of paradise birds on bamboo branches in a poetic and refined spirit, very decorative. The contrast between the depth of the black lacquer, the touches of reddish-orange, and the shine of the mother-of-pearl gives the whole piece an elegant and sophisticated presence.
