Pilgrim's cross called caravaca cross in gilded bronze xviiith the iconography represents the miracle of the appearance of the cross in caravaca. According to tradition, the caravaca cruz would have belonged to the patriarch robert, first bishop of jerusalem conquered from the muslims by the first crusade (1099). The cross appeared miraculously in caravaca in spain near murcia on may 3, 1232.
