Large Chinese Oriental Wall Fan

With its imposing format, this fan is intended to decorate a wall. The pretty decoration was hand-painted, it includes fish, plants and an inscription probably in chinese. It is made of various materials, wood (bamboo) for the stems and side parts (dyed in red-brown), fine bamboo or rattan straws, assembled by sewing and lined with thick paper underneath, serve as a base for the painted decoration, turquoise fabric pastilles appear at the ends, the fan is finished with black, white and gold braid at the ends. It may date from the 50s or 60s, but I am not sure because I am not at all a specialist in this type of object. It has three small ribbons to hang it on the wall. It is in good general condition, the blades are well attached to each other, no or few stains on the painted side, but various stains and marks on the other side. I dusted it carefully. Open it measures 120 cm in maximum width, 74 cm in height (diameter of the semicircle).
