The story behind this beautiful venetian glass mirror is almost as good as the piece itself. Discovered in a house clearance on the belgian/ french border it dates from the late 19th century and had never been moved from the home. This bevelled beauty is surrounded by delicately etched floral and star motifs and has its original wooden backing. Great vintage condition. The imperfection you can see in the image attached is a reflection of a chandelier, not an issue with the glass.
