Mid-Century Modern "Flux" Swedish Vintage Abstract Oil Painting, Framed

A wonderfully rhythmic mid century abstract composition, painted onto board. We get a distinct sense that the artist is painting a visual manifestation of a type of movement or motion. The artist has eliminated all naturalistic forms, concentrating instead on the trajectory and direction of the movements. The painting has a limited palette of white, black, grey and green, putting a stark emphasis on the synthesis that the artist achieves with the looped, flowing and intertwined curves. He is perhaps suggesting the passage of time as well as movement in space. This acrylic on board is housed in its original silver frame with red undertones. There are minor stains on the top left on the painting, but the piece is in very good vintage condition overall. There are minor scuffs to the frame. Size: 51 X 54 cm (including frame).
