This Art Deco sideboard immediately captivates with its silhouette and the harmony of its materials. The body of the piece, made from rosewood with vibrant and deeply graphic veining, showcases a play of natural movements reminiscent of the most refined creations of the 1940s. The doors, rhythmically adorned with undulating grain, give the whole a warm and sophisticated presence. The design is deliberately streamlined: solid volumes, a perfectly smooth facade, understated yet elegant metal handles, and balanced proportions that anchor the piece in the modernist aesthetic of the era. Inside, two levels of storage provide generous capacity. The shelf is mounted on brackets for ideal height adjustment. The functional lock is accompanied by a minimalist key. The black breccia marble top, animated by light veins and contrasting fragments, adds a luxurious and mineral dimension. Its polished surface captures light and interacts with the warmth of the wood, creating a typical Art Deco contrast: a blend of the natural and the precious, the geometric and the organic. Period: 1940. Restored in our cabinetmaking workshop. Finish: shellac & wax. 602V Bis.
