Langley Glyn Colledge Pottery Vase

An elegant langley pottery stoneware two-handled vase decorated with the soraya design by glyn colledge (british, 1922-2000) and dating from the 1970s. The vase is of sturdy construction, raised on a round pedestal and a cylindrical body, with applied loop handles to the lower part of the body. The vase is boldly decorated with abstract scroll and circle designs in shades of brown, blue and orange on a cream ground, with borders of linear designs around the upper rim and foot. The base of the vase has impressed and painted marks. In very good condition dimensions: height: 18.5 cm (7.29 in) diameter: 11.5 cm (4.53 in) careful and expedited shipping possible.
