Pair of blue Equator pendants by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1968

A pair of vintage pendant lights model Equator designed by Jo Hammerborg for the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup in 1968. The model is characterised by a sculptural composition of concentric cylinders that conceal the light source and diffuse a warm, indirect light. This pair features the very beautiful original blue finish, contrasting with the light interior of the reflectors. Both lamps have retained their original vintage finish. The blue paint shows scratches, small marks, some missing areas, and signs of oxidation related to age and use, mainly on the upper and inner parts. These signs of time have been deliberately preserved. A very beautiful set of two iconic pendants of Scandinavian design from the late 1960s.
