4 Early Fritz Hansen Series 7 chairs Arne Jacobsen 1950s/60s

Rare set of four early Fritz Hansen Series 7 chairs, designed by Arne Jacobsen. The chairs are in good vintage condition and feature an unusual wool upholstery with a beautiful mid-century texture and character. The fabric has an appearance reminiscent of classic Dutch De Ploeg textiles or early Kvadrat wool fabrics, adding to the distinctive look of this set. The chairs have the older style base construction with a welded metal cylinder connection, typical of early examples. The original Fritz Hansen stickers have been removed, but visible traces remain where the labels were originally attached. There is one slight visible stain on the upholstery of one chair (see photo 4 top right), otherwise, the fabric and structure are in good condition with normal signs of vintage use. A rare opportunity to acquire a set of four early Series 7 chairs with an authentic mid-century character. The original foot caps are still underneath the current caps to protect the floor.
