Suite of 6 chairs bistrot horgen-glarus 1915-1925 ca, the oldest and most important swiss factory of bentwood seats, founded at the end of XIX by emil baumann, also at the origin of the comtoise production on the french side. Here a model produced from the end of the nineteenth century, with small differences at each manufacturer (kohn, thonet, baumann, fischel, etc.), it remained in vogue in bistros until the early 30s. The version of horgen-glarus is close to that of fischel, with a connection to hoops, but the wooden background with floral decoration in the art nouveau taste gives it an additional charm. -- lot in very good condition with its patina and small repairs of experience, always good for service.
