Vintage minimalist and convex west germany vase by scheurich, circa 1960s, numbered 495-20 at the bottom. This mid century modern vase is glazed and has a central floral decoration, it has brown speckles on a white background. West germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are roth, carstens, ruscha, jopeko, jasba, fohr, but the largest were perhaps scheurich and bay.
