Old blue enamelled metal box

Old box in blue enamelled cast iron, called "turbot box or asparagus" which was used at the beginning of the 20th century for steaming. This object was sold in the department stores of the louvre in paris, between 1900 and 1920 approximately. Very beautiful shade of enamel, deep ultramarine blue. White enamel interior. Traces of wear and use visible in the photos.
