In this advertisement, you will find an attractive Persian rug with a boteh pattern. The boteh pattern, known in the West as the "paisley" motif, is a widely recognised design found in traditional Middle Eastern and South Asian rugs, textiles, and ceremonial clothing. In Persian culture, it often symbolises growth and regeneration, or the cypress, representing eternal life and resilience. It can also represent a flame, associated with divine energy and purification. Handwoven in Afghanistan in the 1960s. The rug is in very good vintage condition. Please feel free to contact the seller for any further questions.
