Enfilade d'henri lancel for primavera tiles of colette gueden very good condition dimentions 195cm longt 95cm high 45cm deep. Trained in cabinetmaking in his father's workshops on rue du 4 septembre, in paris, henri lancel quickly turned to architecture and interior design. In the perspective of the modern pre-war movements, he endeavoured to develop furniture "with rational packaging, luxurious in the material coated with a film of special varnish, washable, [...] extremely comfortable and adaptable to all climates". From 1954, he designed more than 150 models of furniture for the printemps stores, "all bearing the maf label and the designer's signature" as the brand then stated in its advertisements. The success led him to the publisher lévitan the following year, for which he created the "boimétal" and "boilavable" ranges. His fame earned henri lancel to be called to the shipyard of the liner france delivered in 1960. More info ask me, .
