Exceptional pair of Oyster armchairs designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, comprising: – 1 F157 model (large model known as “Gentleman”) – 1 F156 model (more compact version known as “Lady”) This combination of the two formats is particularly sought after, offering an emblematic dialogue of proportions characteristic of Paulin's work in the late 1950s. The characteristic organic lines of the Oyster series unfold here with elegance: a soft and enveloping shell resting on a nickel-plated tubular steel structure, visually light and perfectly balanced.
