Ancient theater binoculars

Superb binoculars of old theater of the nineteenth century, mounted on a wooden support turned napoleon III. The support is made of rosewood. A real object of curiosity, these binoculars are very rarely mounted on their feet. These have the particularity of being also mounted on a kind of box on which we note that there is a part missing at the back (see photo) it is certainly a slide that allowed to open and close the binoculars. It will therefore be a question of planning a small restoration or leaving it as it is. The dial that allows you to enlarge the image still works. Binoculars can rotate from bottom to top on the foot. Ideal in a cabinet of curiosities. In good general condition. Height: 37 cm. Width: 17 cm. Depth: 15 cm. Base diameter: 14 cm.
