Scandinavian chair in beech and black faux leather, 1960s

1960s Scandinavian-style chair made of solid beech, with a seat and backrest upholstered in black faux leather. The curved backrest, held between the two rear legs, gives it a light silhouette and provides good back support. The tapered legs are connected by H-shaped stretchers, and the joints are sound: it does not wobble. It is preserved in its original patina. The faux leather on the seat shows a fine surface crackle, visible in the photo. On its own, it serves as a desk chair or an accent chair in an entrance or bedroom.
