An impressive antique french asparagus dish in slip, dating from the late 19th, early 20th century. It is majolica ware, with an impressive degree of detail showing a bunch of asparagus on leaves, bordered with a basket design and a petal top. This dish is not only decorative but also very practical for serving asparagus with great elegance. The colours used are simply magnificent, absolutely beautiful. I have 2 plates, but the price is for one plate. If you want to buy both, let me know first to adjust the shipping price. They are in very good vintage condition, one of them with a small surface crack on the back, which does not affect its use and the other with a small chipping on one edge. There is a photo of the detail. Each plate measures 25 cm in diameter and 3 cm high, and weighs more than half a kilo.
