Large bayel crystal vase with a pretty 4-lobed flower corolla shape. The crystal is thick, its base is heavy, which makes it very stable even if it receives large bouquets. It is stamped underneath "bayel cristal" which means that it dates from the 60s or 70s because the stamp affixed varied regularly in the 20th century. The bayel glassworks was created in 1666 and obtained royal privileges and supplied the court until 1727. It was only in the 1950s that it gradually became a crystal factory, employing more than 600 people in the 1970s to produce high-quality crystal, with a beautiful shine thanks to its high lead content (27%) before closing its doors for good in 2016. It is in good condition, but has some micro-scratches that testify to its age and a small accident fortunately not excessively visible because located at the base of the vase (corner between the horizontal edge of the base and the vertical edge of a corner). It measures 28 cm in height, its base measures 7.5 cm on each side, spreading out to form a square of 11 cm on each side.
