Very good batch of bistro chairs from the 40s/50s, models that come from the french luterma and the clerc chairrie of rancy. Typical of the so-called "reconstruction" period sober, robust and functional - one of the few supplies still abundant after the war. --- lot in its patina of authentic but refreshed, revised, clean, waxed. No breakage, no weakness in structures (footings, frames) or basewood bottoms (solid or lamé wood, and original wood-lino).
