Beautiful glass pendant lamp by Fontana Arte, made in Italy in the 1950s. Fontana Arte was founded in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Gio Ponti, who combined traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern design principles. Known for innovative design with clean lines, geometric shapes, and functionality, emblematic of mid-century modern design. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. Dimensions: Width 45 cm / 17.71 inches, Height 65 cm / 25.6 inches. The lamp requires 3 European E14 bulbs and is compatible with an E12 USA socket. It works with standard, LED, or halogen bulbs, 220V for Europe and 110V for the USA.
