Amber-colored Art Deco Vase, Luxor, Scailmont, Henri Heemskerk

A beautiful and iconic amber-colored vase from the Art Deco period. Known as the ‘Luxor’ model, it was designed by Henri Heemskerk and manufactured using pressed glass (often referred to as ‘depression glass’) at the Scailmont glass factory during the 1930s. It is marked ‘Fait en Belgique’ on the bottom. This fantastic vase features a stylish geometric design with a matte finish toward the base. Its timeless aesthetic allows it to fit seamlessly into both vintage and modern interiors. The piece is in excellent vintage condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its history—such as minor surface scratches on the base—but it is free of cracks, breaks, or chips.
