Black and white photograph from an indian studio in jaipur. It depicts two friends ostensibly showing what makes them proud, what ensures their status. Here it is a key (of bicycle?) that one of the two companions wears clearly visible on the second buttonhole of his shirt. You should know that photo studios lent accessories (glasses, watches) or clothes (jacket, pants etc.). Going to the photographer was a pleasure that we offered ourselves. Handwritten mention with the name of the studio, now disappeared: jaipur photo art palace. Two corners folded. Frame dimensions: 26x32cm of the photograph 11, 5x16cm.
