Exceptional oak wood buffet or sideboard, with four sculpted front panels, attributed to / following the style of the famous Spanish designer Rafael García, 1970s. The piece rests on four slender saber legs and the top features a satin finish that enhances the warm hue of the wood. The great uniqueness of this piece lies in its magnificent hand-carved façade, in natural oak, depicting a landscape of animals and plants, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a natural ecosystem. It includes decorative elements of flora and fauna, such as deer, squirrels, and peacocks in their natural habitat among the foliage and palm trees, with a spectacular backdrop of aligned mountains. The storage space is divided into two sections, each with double doors. The key is retained, although the lock needs to be checked. The interior includes a separating shelf, also with a satin finish. The visual aesthetic of this piece promotes the creation of a unique creative atmosphere, aiming to integrate the piece into an exceptional environment, a space with a soul. Rafael García Nicolau (1914-2007), father of architect Álvaro García Luján and recipient of the honorary medal from the Official College of Architects of Madrid in 1996, was a major reference in decoration and furniture in Spain in the 20th century, evolving from Valencian tradition to a modern style. He also worked in Morocco, the United States, and Latin America.
