VINTAGE 20thC GERMAN METAL & PAPER FLOOR LAMP BY INGO MAURER c.1990

A sculptural floor lamp constructed around a circular metal wire sphere containing crumpled white paper elements, presented on a tall slender stem with circular base. The object reads as a conceptual light sculpture rather than conventional lighting, and the air and void through the structure are as important formally as the material mass. Decorative impact is very high because it creates a floating cloud volume that feels almost performative within a room. CONDITION In Great Condition - Wear expected with age.
