Modular shelves model M45 by Wim Rietveld for Gispen

Magnificent vintage modular storage unit in blonde wood veneer and black metal, designed by the famous Dutch designer Wim Rietveld for the publisher Gispen (Series M45 / 663, circa 1957). Very beautiful modernist / Mid-Century design, both aesthetic and extremely practical thanks to its numerous storage options and modularity. Composition of the set (2 columns): Right side: A tall cabinet with a hinged door. A central cabinet with a hinged door. A low cabinet with a hinged door. Crowned by an open niche/shelf on top. Left side: A display case/high niche with a tinted black glass door. An open intermediate niche. A secretary/desk with a drop-down front and foldable white top and internal storage. A low cabinet consisting of 3 large drawers. Very satisfactory condition. Very similar to A.R.P models (Motte, Guariche, Mortier). Do not confuse as many do. #VintageDesign #WimRietveld #Gispen #ModularFurniture #ItalianDesign #MidCenturyModern #VintageFurniture #DutchDesign #Seventies #Fifties #VintageSecretary #VintageBookshelf #VintageSideboard #InteriorDecoration #OnlineBrocante.
