Rare! Very large Louis XVI style gilt mirror with a ribbon pediment. The moldings are plaster, and the mirror itself is not beveled, as can be seen in the photo marked "natural mirror." It has no pitting, as I don't believe it's mercury glass. It is in very good condition, with two minor flaws: a slight chip at the end of the ribbon (see the red-framed photo) and some wear to the outer edges of the mirror (see the last two photos). This is a truly beautiful and majestic piece that will make a striking impression. Please note: this mirror is particularly heavy, weighing over 100 kg.
