Important Art Deco center desk in burl, mahogany, and blackened wood.

Very elegant Art Deco center desk, featuring imposing and particularly decorative architecture. The piece is made of precious wood, contrasting deep brown-red tones with darker frames in blackened wood. The wide rectangular top showcases beautiful, dynamic veining, enhanced by a glossy varnish finish. The front is organized around a central drawer and two side cabinets closed by doors. These are adorned with molded panels and carved motifs typical of the Art Deco decorative vocabulary. Inside, the desk offers significant storage space: four drawers on each side, totaling eight side drawers, plus the central drawer. An interesting feature is that the desk also has two large retractable side extensions, allowing for a considerable increase in the work surface. The total width reaches approximately 202 cm when both extensions are deployed. The silver metal handles and lock entries add an extra touch characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic. The desk is sold with its matching chair, featuring a medallion backrest and comfortable seat, echoing the color and some decorative elements of the piece. A set of beautiful presence, ideal for an office, library, or Art Deco interior. Style: Art Deco. Desk dimensions: H. 78 × W. 130 × D. 88 cm. Width with both extensions open: approximately 202 cm. Sold with its matching chair. Condition: overall good condition, with some signs of use and small imperfections consistent with the age of the set.
