Coaster, 925 silver ring – A573

Vintage and beautiful coaster, with a sterling silver 925 rim, produced in the 1960s. The body is made of cut glass with a lovely transparency and brilliance, featuring a star pattern. Sterling silver or 925 silver is an alloy containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals (usually copper). It has a minimum fineness of 925 thousandths and offers a perfect balance between brilliance and durability. It corresponds to the first standard silver. Due to its high silver content, it reflects light with exceptional brilliance. This coaster has a very beautiful, bright, and intense shine. It is classic, timeless, very elegant, and will of course serve as a coaster on a coffee table that you want to keep stain-free, on a bridge cloth or otherwise, but it can also be repurposed to serve, for example, as a small catch-all for your rings and jewellery, and will be absolutely charming in your bedroom.
