8 bistro chairs n°14 and n°18 in curved wood early twentieth century

Beautiful set of 8 bistro chairs in curved wood early twentieth century. 5 of them are of the model n°18 - 3 from the austrian fischel factory, 2 from the türpe factory in drede in german saxony. Finally, 3 are of the model n°14 - a pair from the austro-hungarian ungvar, and a copy also from türpe. The lot is emblematic of the homogeneity of the versions of these two models already iconic around 1910 among the main competitors of tuna. They are also all equipped with side reinforcements, optional to the catalogs of the time, a guarantee of additional robustness. The cannages are in excellent condition, most redone during the course of life, all with six strands knotted in the cane tradition. Original patinas, light to medium walnut. Note that they are all "full format" (not "half) and provide a good ease of sitting.
