Ceramic chandelier, signed LONGCHAMP, twisted old red

Stunning double candlestick in Art Deco style, from the Longchamp Manufacture, dating from the 1950s. A 1950s design piece with a typical modernist twisted style of the Longchamp pottery. The twisted ceramic, glazed in a superb old red colour, gives it a proud and elegant appearance. The colour is intentionally not uniform, creating nuances and adding charm to the object. Stamped Longchamp France under the base, model 1758. Brilliant and vibrant colour, no cracks or chips. Only two small glazing defects to note: the first is under the base, making it completely invisible, and the second is at an angle, very minimally visible. It can also be electrified, thanks to the existing cord passage on one of the small sides. Height: 15.5 cm. Length: 20 cm. Width: 8 cm. Weight: 495 grams.
