RAR rocking chair by Eames for Herman Miller Paris

RAR (Rocking Armchair on Rod base) rocking chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s. Cream-colored fiberglass shell on a more recent black lacquered metal base and walnut glides. Herman Miller Paris manufacturer's label on the back of the shell as well as the letter V molded into the shell. Very good overall condition, some slight color variations on the shell as well as 2 scratches on the bottom of the back of the backrest, discoloration of the front ends and wear on the back of the wooden glides.
