Czech industrial designer, jindřich halabala was a significant proponent of modernist, industrially manufactured furniture in czechoslovakia and had a tremendous influence on the interior design of many interwar and postwar czech homes. Model h269 is a signature design of jindrich halabala produced by up zavody. Current armchair was reupholstered with "kolovrat" fabrics. Seating renewed using traditional technology and includes springs, african grass, and horsehair to ensure durability. Wood was refinished with high gloss.
