Vintage 'Kon Tiki' folding chair Gillis Lundgren

Vintage mid-century modern kon tiki beige canvas and wooden folding chair by gillis lundgren for ikea. This folding chair was designed in 1974 by gillis lundgren for ikea. The 'kon tiki' model comes from an eponymous garden decoration series that ikea launched in 1974 (seen on the cover of that year's catalogue) that included folding dining chairs, reclining lounge chairs, coffee and dining tables. The boho chic design makes it an ideal fit for someone's living and dining room, in someone's kitchen, hallway, bedroom or entryway or even on someone's patio or terrace. Origin: made by ikea in sweden in the 1970s. Dimensions: Chair width: 43 cm. Total width: 54 cm. Seat height: 45 cm. Total height: 77 cm. Depth: 49 cm. The chair is in a very good vintage condition: the wooden frame is excellent! Only the cushion has 1 small stain and the seat is slightly discolored from the sun, but is hardly visible.
