Set of 3 vintage Ted folding chairs by Niels Gammelgaard

Ted folding chair designed by niels gammelgaard for ikea - 1976. The ted folding chair is an eternal classic, from designer niels gammelgaard. One of the secrets of its success is the fact that it is extremely comfortable compared to other folding chairs. The chair was named ted when it was added to the ikea range in 1976. It was then launched in the 1979 catalog and lasted for ten years. In the following years, the series was supplemented with two small tables and a folding table that was mounted on the wall. Dimensions unfolded: wide: 45.5 cm. Deep: 47 cm. High: 79 cm. Seat height: 44 cm. Folded dimensions: wide: 45 cm. Deep: 10 cm. High: 88 cm. The chairs are in good vintage condition with some signs of wear, a little bit of rust in a few places and some superficial scratches (see also photos).
