Flat desk or a Louis XV style centre table, regionally made (such as Provençal or Vendéen style), dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. The Louis XV style is recognisable by its cabriole legs and its undulating, shaped apron. It is made of solid oak, as evidenced by the wide and marked grains visible on the top and apron. The top is shaped with a beak-like moulding. It features a large drawer in the apron, which is practical for use as a desk or entrance console. The top has a separation in the middle, suggesting it may have been an old game table with a top that could be flipped or opened, or simply an assembly of two wide oak boards that have aged over time. The piece is sound and in good condition for its age. Option for stripping available for an additional €150 - Width 90, depth 54, height 73.
