Milking tabouret

Beautiful piece made by a wood professional for the use of farm animal milking designed in the 1960s. This stool has a hexagonal seat cut out of a solid plank and covered with a piece of goat's leather surrounded by tapestry nails. Under the seat are fixed three feet with round joints to mortaise and has threaded tenon, the most solid wood assembly technique still used by cabinetmakers, thus the feet detach from the seat. It is in good condition, just a little addict in an angle (see photo), this little stool deserves to find a corner in a house to let in a little piece of countryside. Weight 1, 770kg. Height 37cm.
