Pair of restored mahogany armchairs from the Restoration period.
Magnificent pair of mahogany armchairs completely restored, from the Restoration period, featuring a style that combines softness and complexity of lines with decorative refinement. These armchairs rest on front legs with prominent volute moldings, while the back legs are saber-shaped, ensuring discreet and elegant stability. Curved consoles support the finely structured and sculpted armrests, which themselves rest on sculpted bases adorned with side palmettes faithful to the Restoration style. The upholstery of these armchairs has been entirely redone in the traditional manner with straps and jute fabric, vegetable stuffing, and springs, ensuring generously padded seating and enveloping slightly curved backs, guaranteeing perfect durability over time. The new and luminous Jacquard fabric, with its geometric gold fillets, adds a timeless elegant and refined touch. The mahogany gives them a warm and soft hue, enhanced by a satin glossy varnish that ensures protection and durability. The two armchairs are rigorously identical and have very pleasant dimensions with a total height of 93 cm, a width of 57 cm, a depth of 50 cm, and a very comfortable seat height of 44 cm. Originally, these armchairs are from the early 19th century; they have been fully restored by me in my workshop and are now simply magnificent, ready to integrate into your interior.
