Large carpet persan former kirman circa 1940/1950. Wool velvet, chains, cotton weft and fringes. Night blue field with wide central medallion crenellated ivory, sky blue, pink and pale green in the shape of elongated diamond adorned with two palmettes at the tip of wool. Beautiful framing forming four scoundrels reminiscent of the central medallion. Large midnight blue border with flower sheaves surrounded by palmettes reminiscent of the decorations of the soap factory carpets. Hand-knotted carpet. Dimensions: 560 cm X 358 cm. A few traces of wear giving it this crazy charm of old carpets!.
