Damask tablecloth monogrammed GM, 1m55 x 2m90

This large damask tablecloth ( 1m55 X 2m90 ) is woven with geometric patterns, monogrammed gm. She has a very good "hand", because the weave is "twill", that is, woven at an angle, which makes the fabric very strong. For me it is the ultimate in weaving! The monogram, hand embroidered with "plumetis", very embossed, is repeated 2 times on the tablecloth, at each end, leaving the whole center free to arrange the dishes and for the decoration of the table. The letters are arranged head-to-toe. The hems are folded on the spot, which indicates that the work is from the 19th.
