Here is a very beautiful vase or soliflore, slender, with delicate lines, all in finesse. It has been made from two different types of glass, transparent glass for the chalice and smoked glass for the foot. The chalice is adorned with floral patterns engraved in relief in the glass. I was wondering about the base of the foot, which reminds me of glasses made by Luminarc in the 1970s... So here is my hypothesis: the glass was manufactured by a factory, Luminarc or another, and then a craftsman engraved the floral pattern cold. Apparently, this was quite common in the 1970s; good quality glasses were often personalised, sometimes with one or more first names when it was a wedding or communion gift, or just a decoration as is the case here. It is in very good condition, neither cracked nor chipped. It measures 22.5 cm in height, 5.7 cm in diameter at the foot, and 2.5 cm in diameter at the opening.
