Vetreria Barbieri vase from Empoli in Italy in opaline glass from Florence

Magnificent vase in white "opaline of florence" with mottling of orange, black and gray color. It is a very beautiful handmade work in blown glass: we detect some bubbles that prove it. After research, comparisons and questions from specialists, it seems that this vase comes from the famous manufacture "vetreria barbieri" in empoli in italy which worked with opaline from florence between 1970 and the early 80s. The vitamin orange, flashy seems to confirm that it dates from the 70s, in the current pop art. Its proportions are really pleasant with its slender collar and pretty curves. It is well balanced, the base is thick, heavy enough to hold the vase well if you put some flowers in it. It is in perfect condition, just a deposit of dirt at the bottom that I did not manage to clean by absence of the suitable tool (fine pin). The photos were taken under natural light, but with different brightness during the day. It measures 25.5 cm in height, 10 cm in diameter at the level of the rumen and weighs about 410 g.
