Place of origin: Murano (Venice, Italy) The Seguso family is one of the oldest, most illustrious, and respected dynasties of master glassmakers on the island of Murano, with activities dating back to the 14th century (1397). In the 20th century, branches such as Seguso Vetri d'Arte (founded in the 1930s) or the creations of Archimede Seguso profoundly influenced the history of Italian design and art glass.
