Height: 32 cm. Year 1930. Excellent condition. Signed. Lucien brisdoux (1878-1963) was a french ceramist known for his production of decorative sandstone objects in bonny sur loire in the loiret during the art deco period. He devoted his research to metal oxides and his gold and platinum metallescent enamellings that gave his ceramics remarkable effects. He stopped this technique in 1940 for economic reasons and sold his workshop in 1956.
