Large vintage blown glass bowl in turquoise – Murano style – applied flower

Superb large vintage decorative bowl made of blown glass, featuring beautiful shades of turquoise, deep blue, and green. The bowl has an elegant freeform and wavy shape, with a thick transparent blue glass rim surrounding an opalescent turquoise heart. It rests on a green glass foot, crafted with an elegant radiating pattern, and has a white flower with green leaves on the edge, all made of glass and applied hot. All these elements – thick glass, freeform shape, applied foot, floral decoration, and small bubbles present in the material – evoke Italian craftsmanship, likely in the tradition of Murano glassworks from the second half of the 20th century. As the piece is neither signed nor labelled, this attribution remains to be confirmed. A very beautiful decorative piece, spectacular for its size, weight, and the intensity of its colours. Overall good condition. No chips or cracks. Some small imperfections and bubbles are visible in the glass, as well as a few small dark spots or inclusions related to the manufacturing process.
