Description
Robert Picault (1919-2000) A genius ceramist, having worked closely with Picasso and Roger Capron, he created his own alquifoux (mixture of lead sulphide and sand) and developed this very personal style inspired by the Muslim Middle Ages with traced geometric patterns, in duotone, blue and manganese and especially green and manganese. He created a factory to fulfill orders from the Aga Khan. Bonbonniere which can also be used as a casserole dish, knowing that Robert Picault mastered the art of culinary ceramics. It is in superb condition with just a small scratch on the underside of the lid that is difficult to see.
